Our
Mission
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The purpose of the Lucas County Auditor's GIS Department is to develop and maintain GIS technology and tools providing for spatial data management, collection, analysis, and mapping capabilities that support the Lucas County Auditor’s goals of accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.

GIS services enable data sharing across systems and provide a centralized database for geographic data and maps.
What does GIS do?
The Auditor's office maintains digital mapping data layers and administers the county's Cadastral data within the Auditor's geodatabase.

The office is able to perform the following tasks:
-
Create custom maps (digital & print).
-
Develop and support web-based GIS applications.
-
Provide GIS training and technical support.
-
Fulfill GIS data and map requests.
Disclaimer: All GIS data is based on real property information maintained by the Lucas County Auditor. Boundary lines and map data should be independently verified.
