I received a check in the mail, but I'm not sure what it was for. Can you please tell me what it was for?

If you have a copy of the check, you can call our office at 419-213-4406 and we can tell you why the payment was sent. We will need to know the date of the check and the check number.

Common reasons people receive checks are due to receiving a refund of overpayment of property taxes due to Homestead or a Board of Revision case, providing services to Lucas County, or claiming Unclaimed Funds.

I need to receive payment from Lucas County and was told to register as a spend authorized supplier. How do I do this?

You can register at the link below. You will be required to provide a completed W-9 form, Master Supplier Form, a Voided check or bank letter indicating the name on the account, account number, and routing number, and may be required to complete the OPERS Independent Contractor/Worker form.​
